My memory is filled with blues

As long as I can remember, I have spent almost all my vacations at the sea.
At dawn, the day began with my mom's hug, and with a certain urgency to wake up and get ready to leave early. Tuna sandwiches were prepared, which once assembled were stored in the same packaging bread came with. That, along with some fruit, doritos and cookies accompanied a perfect day, full of wind, sand, sun and beach. These little things are the most beautiful memories today.
Turquoise and emerald green were always my favorite colors.
Morrocoy - the beaches of my childhood. La Guaira, the coast of Aragua and Mochima - My adolescence. Los Roques - The beginning of a new life and the dream, which only as an adult came true, when there was more money and when I was about to emigrate from the country; with no certainty of when I would set foot on my land again.
The beach, its colors, smells, textures. Its energy, people and culture, everything that makes it what is. What I most long to paint these days. What I dream of returning to. Part of my identity, my roots and my safe haven.
